I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Major coursework included clinical mental health counseling, lifespan and developmental concerns in therapy, and counseling individuals, with an emphasis on personalizing the therapy experience for each patient.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon (#C5106) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH61513639.)
I’ve engaged in specific training on treating trauma and the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, especially complex childhood trauma. I’ve also received training in behavioral approaches to change, attachment theory, somatic techniques, and motivational interviewing.
My clinical experience includes working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, difficulties with self-esteem, shame, highly sensitive people, life changes and personal development, and relationship issues.
